Attorneys Leah Broker and Anna Hamrick joined together to create the Broker & Hamrick law firm in 2002 to better serve the needs of the injured and disabled of Western North Carolina.

The law firm handles only Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income, Workers’ Compensation and disability Medicaid claims for clients in this region.

Leah has been licensed to practice law since 1992, and Anna since 1994. Both attorneys are licensed members of the N.C. State Bar and 28th Judicial District Bar as well as voluntary members of the  North Carolina Bar Association, the N.C. Advocates for Justice, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.  Both are active in the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, in the statewide organization and the WNC Chapter. Leah is also a member of the American Bar Association.

In addition to their practices, both Leah and Anna are active in the community, serving on boards and committees of area non-profits, schools and legal associations.

In 2006 the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys awarded Broker & Hamrick, P.A. the Balanced Life Workplace Award in the Small Firm category.

In 2011 the North Carolina Bar Association awarded Broker & Hamrick, P.A. the Pro Bono Service Award in the Small Firm category.
