Anna Hamrick grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and earned a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991. She received her law degree from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. in 1994.
Since moving to Asheville in 1996, Anna has been a member of the Junior League of Asheville, served on the board of Pisgah Legal Services, and is a Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyer. She currently serves on the publications committee of the North Carolina State Bar, on the Medico-Legal Liaison Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association and on the board of Hanger Hall School for Girls.
